CREATE A GROUP EMAIL LIST

Future assignments will sometimes require you to email your work to everyone in the class. For this purpose you will set up a group email list in hotmail. To set up a group email list you first have to add everyone's name and then you will select everyone's name for the new group list. I will give you a list of all the names and emails to add individually.  Please be sure to unclick the Favorite option for every new contact.

Please go to hotmail, login and go to the main page. At the top, click on the light blue "Contacts" tab or blue link. Complete the form.

1. Click "New."

2. Next to  "Quickname" put your classmates last name.

3. Do not put anything in First or Last name

4. Unclick the Favorite option (do not mark this contact as a favorite)

5. In the Personal Address section type your classmates email from the list given.

6. Click on Save and Add Another Contact on the left

7. Continue this procedure until you have added everyone.

8. Click Save on the left.

9. You should still be in the CONTACTS window. Click Put in Group. Add everyone on the My Contacts side on the left (including you and me) to the Group Members list on the right

10. Type in Group Name: Economics Class

11. Click Save

Voila!

Remember: You are only using this group email for economics and not for personal use!
